Three Attend District Seminar

Last Saturday, Terry Jones, John Biggs and Rod DeArmond attended the District 5400 Membership/Foundation seminar in Meridian. There were about 30 Rotarians there from clubs in the Boise area. The morning session was devoted to the Rotary Foundation and the many opportunities we have to support its work around the world. The afternoon session focused on our membership challenges and ideas for growing our clubs. As promised, Terry Gilbert, next year's DG, conducted a joke contest during lunch. They were ALL bad - so bad, in fact, that it was moved that Terry keep the grand prize for himself. John represented the Emmett Club and his joke was no better!
