Last week, Tom Grover and Gretchen Hyde presented the program on the need to pass the school bond. The bond election will be on 30 September.

Although some have complained that the advisory vote is confusing, it was done to allow for maximum input from the public.  The school board is not bound to follow the advisory vote if the bond passes, but school board members believe that there is an ethical obligation to follow the wishes of the voters.  Tom and Gretchen believe that passing a $20,000,000 bond now is in the best interests of school patrons and the entire community.

(note: if you go the homepage and click on "club documents", you may, I say may, be able to see the whole ballot that will be presented on 9/30)
