Seven Attend Mid-Winter Gathering

Seven members of our club attended the District 5400 Mid-Winter Conference in Boise last Saturday: TJ, Terry, John, Vicky, Stacy, Tonja and Wisti. There were about 54 Rotarians there presenting clubs from all over the western Idaho area. Each club had the opportunity to tell about their current activities and challenges. Its amazing how different our clubs are! We heard about some really interesting projects. We also got updates on the You Tube contest, Ambassadorial Scholarships, this May's District Conference in Sun Valley and the Rotary Foundation. John gave a presentation about Communications and Public Relations and Vicky gave one about forming Interact clubs. The hat was passed and $217. was raised for Polio Plus! (See our pictures on the District Blog!) And, oh yes, we did perform the Rotary song!!
