Our speaker last week was Lorissa Holt. Wasn't her story amazing? I wished we could have been there all afternoon to hear the rest of it! For those who missed it, she recounted her story of growing up in Kiev just before WWII and then watching the Nazis come to town; being rounded up with her mother and sent off to the camp at Dachau. But she survived and moved to Emmett in 1958. She has a book for sale called "Remember: A Memoir of Nazi Invasion, Forced Exile and Concentration Camp". We are looking forward to reading it. Thank you for sharing, Lorissa!
