Barker on Foundation

We were pleased to welcome Marianne Barker as our speaker last week. She's Chair of the District 5400 Rotary Foundation Annual Fund. The theme this year is "Every Rotarian, Every Year". The goal is for every member to contribute something to the annual fund and have an average per capita level of at least $100 per member. She explained how our giving is matched by the Foundation and the District and that part of our giving comes back to us in the form of District Simplified Grants. The Fund also finances GSE Teams, Ambassadorial Scholarships and world wide water projects. Gifts to the annual fund are credited toward your Paul Harris account. This is the fund that you see on your quarterly billing statement.
