20 Bucks for Polio
As you know, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has contributed $355 MILLION to Rotary International to support its fight to finally eradicate Polio. But there's a condition: Rotary has to raise $200 MILLION. Our District 5400 has committed to raise $20 per member toward this effort. Our Club has joined the parade! So, we have designated our meeting day, April 1st, 2010, as "20 Bucks for Polio Day". All members are asked to bring $20 that day (or before, if you can't be there). Lets do our part to eradicate Polio from those four last countries - Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and Nigeria ("PAIN")
