Report from PETS
Terry and TJ attended the President Elect Training Seminar (PETS) in Twin Falls last weekend at the spectacular new Canyon Event Center overlooking the golf course. Terry has this to say:
I want to thank Bob for getting the incoming leadership team ready for PETS. In fact Emmett was the only club in the district that had a transition team in place and actually had a meeting before PETS. The agenda was very full - it included talks on District Org Chart, Web Site, Club Planning, RYLA, GSET, Youth Exchange, Youth Protection, Family of Rotary, Dictionary Project, Foundation, Ambassadorial Scholarship, Polo Plus, and the most important part just getting to know one another. The highlight of the meeting was the Friday night dinner speaker - Dale Dixon (a long time friend of mine) from the BBB talked about the number one crisis in the world today - "TRUST" - and how our "four way test" is the solution to that crisis. I thank the Emmett Club for letting us be your leadership team and what we learned we will be sharing with all of you at future meetings.
