Our International Project Moves Ahead!
Bob Rainville, Coordinator of the District's International Projects, reports that the 8 clubs in our District who had agreed to support the Bakery Project at the New Hope Orphanage in Peru have completed their funding commitments. Our club contributed $1,000; the District total is $6,100.
Our collective funds will be delivered through Rotary International to our partner club, the Rotary Club of Yanahuara in Arequipa, Peru.
This new bakery will provide life skills training to the 45-60 orphans who live at the facility. Once again, our support of Rotary International makes a difference!
