Club Assembly Topics

Last week's Club Assembly had discussions on the following:

Membership Committee - there is no prohibition about a prospective member also belonging to another service club like Lions or Kiwanis, but we should make sure would be committed to Rotary first
District Simplified Grants - two proposals (1) Lighting for the new sign at the County line (2) Heat pump for the Food Pantry expansion project
Island Picnic shelter - needs to be spruced up this spring
Highway Cleanup - we'll contact Highway Department Volunteer Coordinator
Youth Auction - get selling! We need to have contributions by the end of March so the sales bills can be printed
Cherry Festival Parking - Terry needs a co-chair. Two lots means more people needed!
Rotary Foundation Bonus Credits - Anyone who has contributed since 1/1/08 will get a share of the bonus credited to their account. If you haven't contributed yet, you must do so by March 1....$25. minimum.
Presidential citation - Our Youth Auction and Appreciation Day should be a good one for District Recognition.
Spring Golf tournament- should we do it?
