Rotary Lightens the Hallway at Black Canyon School

Thursday, October 20, members of the Rotary Club of Emmett's monthly service project was to cover a blue wall with white paint in one of the main hallways at Black Canyon School.  Armed with paintbrushes and rollers and dressed in old clothes the evening was spent with lots of laughs, cookies and, oh, yes, PAINT!!!  The group consisted of our President Jake Sweeten and his family, Darcy Merritt, Mary Knight, Daniel Brice, Anita Taylor, Bryan Stone, John Buck and Kathy Buck.  The most fun was watching Jakes boys just join right in and paint away!  The 3rd Thursday of every month we meet for dinner at Idaho Pizza at 6:00 pm and then do a service project together.  Come join us, anytime!  Everyone is welcome.
