Our Emmett Interact Members Pass the Pumpkin for Polio

The Emmett Interact Club displayed real leadership skills in taking on the Pumpkins for Polio idea of passing a pumpkin at home football games to collect donations.  In the process, they had to make a presentation to the EHS Student Council and after getting permission from that group, they had to organize themselves to be in attendance and pass the pumpkin!  Their efforts were rewarded with $202.29 donated! Interact members Elise Logan and Sophia Poundstone are shown here with the Rotary Club sponsor, Sue Beitia as they reported to the Rotary club membership on October 17, 2014.  Thank you, Interact, for taking on this project - we hope you had fun doing it!
