Dictionaries DELIVERED!

Each year, the Rotary Club of Emmett writes a grant to purchase dictionaries and coloring books for al the 3rd graders in Gem County in the early fall.  These are then delivered to al the schools.  This is a very eye-opening venture as everywhere we went we met GREAT 3rd graders with GREAT questions. Some of them are  already doing service projects in their neighborhoods.  It's a There are definitely future Rotarians in 3rd grade!
 

 

We extend special thanks to Chuck Rolland who delivered dictionaries to the Sweet/Ola schools and to Kurtis Hall who took them to Garden Valley; TJ Adams, Greg Kershul, Bryan Stone and John Buck for  deliveries to Shadow Butte Elementary, Carberry Elementary and Calvary Christian Academy.  If you've never had the opportunity to help with the Dictionary Project, put it on your calendar!  it's a great way to see the kids in our schools are eager to learn and are indeed, great citizens of our great country!
